Welcome to the "Electrochemical Energy Materials Lab." at University of Seoul.
Our group aims to advance materials and associated property tailoring processes for electrochemical energy storage & conversion.
To this end, we investigate in depth 1) materials synthesis & design in terms of bulk and surface material parameters, 2) optimization of electrode architecture, & 3) in/ex-situ electrochemical analysis & evaluation.
Our research focuses on the development of high performance electrochemical energy devices, including post-Li-Ion batteries, flexible/stretchable batteries and water electrolyzers, with an extensive background in microstructural control of nanomaterials and chemical metallurgy.
We are currently looking for new members to our group.
Exciting research opportunities for graduate or undergraduate students are now open!
Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions.
